A new convergence proof for approximations of the Stefan problem

چکیده
We consider the Stefan problem, firstly with regular data and secondly irregular data. In both cases is given a proof for convergence of an approximation obtained by regularising problem. These proofs are based on weak formulations compactness results in some Sobolev spaces negative exponents.

Stefan problem with kinetics is reduced to a system of nonlinear Volterra integral equations of second kind and Newton's method is applied to linearize it. Product integration solution of the linear form is found and sufficient conditions for convergence of the numerical method are given.
